Newsela is an instructional content platform that takes authentic, real-world content from trusted sources and makes it instruction-ready for K-12 classrooms. Each text is published at five reading levels, making content accessible to every learner.

Newsela helps Pennsylvania districts and schools accelerate learning through an integrated system of supports with resources designed to complement their core curriculum and support initiatives like text-dependent analysis, disciplinary literacy and the science of reading.

Offerings include Newsela ELA, Newsela Social Studies,  and Newsela Science (aligned with new PA Science standards).
