Child & Career Development Center (CCDC) Great Valley Campus
The CCDC Great Valley Campus, an extension of the Coatesville Campus, is set to open its doors in September 2026, aiming to provide additional space and services for special needs children. The innovative design, inspired by diverse learning environments, prioritizes safety with state-of-the-art features and a unique ramp system for community-wide accessibility. The campus integrates Biophilia design principles to ensure scenic views and natural light, promoting positive mental health.

Engle Education Center
The CCIU project team is advancing renovation plans for the Fred S. Engle Middle School in the Avon Grove School District. The renovated building will house the AGSD administration, special education programming, and preschool education classrooms, with completion expected by March 2025.

CTCE & Diesel Mechanic Program
The CCIU secures a lease for 1002 South Chestnut Street in Downingtown to address the need for expanded space for Career, Technical & Customized Education (CTCE) programs. This expansion highlights the strategic move to better serve students with state-of-the-art facilities and programs. The new facility will house CTCE administrative staff and introduce a new diesel mechanic program available to Technical College High School (TCHS) Brandywine Campus students starting in the 2024-25 school year.

Future Capital Projects
The CCIU is actively advancing other captial projects, including upgrades to the CCIU Learning Center, CCDC, and Toddler Center in Coatesville, and reonvations at the TCHS Brandywine Campus for the new Sports Medicine Program.
The projects signify a commitment to fostering innovative learning environments, expanding opportunities, and shaping a brighter and more inclusive future for children across Chester County.
