The CCIU is committed to keeping our families and our staff informed of important updates and news that may impact our plans, and therefore we would like to share the following update.

On Tuesday, August 31, 2021, Governor Tom Wolf announced that students and staff will be required to wear masks regardless of vaccination status in all K-12 public and private schools and early learning and childcare programs. The order will take effect Tuesday, September 7 and will remain in place until further notice by the Pennsylvania Department of Health. 

 As per CCIU’s health and safety plan, all students, staff, and visitors were already required to wear masks in all CCIU buildings. Our current health and safety plan will be revised at our September board meeting to reflect the order and our guidance forward.
